How It Works

Set up your automatic monthly payments

Put that checkbook away. Connect your checking account, and let us know where we should mail your rent check.

We’ll mail your rent check for you

We’ll put your rent check in the mail up to 10 days before it’s due, so it has plenty of time to arrive. No one likes late fees.

We’ll keep you in the loop

Every month, we’ll let you know when your rent’s on the way. You can stop payments at anytime.

Common Questions

Does my landlord need to use Cozy?

Nope! We’ll let your landlord know you’re paying with Cozy though.

So does Cozy just send my landlord a rent check?

Yep! We also give your landlord the option to receive your rent electronically. We’ll let you know if they choose that option.

How long does it usually take for my rent to arrive?

We’ll put your rent in the mail up to 10 days before it’s due, so it has plenty of time to arrive.

Do I need to pay anything to use this service?

Not at this time. We are offering this service for free while it’s in beta.

When will my payment be withdrawn from my bank account?

Your payment will be withdrawn from your checking account when your landlord deposits the check. If they accept your rent electronically, your payment will begin processing on the date you selected.

Can I use a credit or debit card to pay my rent?

If we send your landlord a check, you can only pay with your checking account. If they decide to accept your payment electronically, you can switch to paying with a debit or credit card for a 2.75% transaction fee.
